Youth

 

It is often said that "children are the future".  If this is true, then the future of Mount Vernon United Methodist is STRONG!  We are pleased to have a thriving youth program with many kids involved in multiple different groups and activities.  Pastor Becky High leads these groups, most of which meet only during the school year.  Here are some of the ways youth can get involved, and when it all happens!

 

Meets:  Wednesday night from 6:00 - 7:30 PM with dinner in Fellowship Hall

7:30 - 8:00 PM in the Sanctuary

Praise Band & Singers:  Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 PM  (Sanctuary)

Chancel Choir:  Wednesday 7:30 - 8:30 PM  (Choir Room)

Metholark Choir and Bells:  Wednesday 3:30 - 4:35 PM  (Choir Room/Sanctuary)

Youth Handbells and Christian Spirit Singers:  Wednesday 4:45 - 5:55 PM  (Choir Room)

Ringalingers:  Wednesday 6:00 - 6:15 PM (Chapel Room)

Adult Handbells:  Tuesday 6:00 PM  (Sanctuary)

 

3 years to 6th Grade:  Theme Sunday School at 9:45 in Sanctuary

7th/8th Grade:  Sundays at 9:45

High School:  Sundays at 9:45
